The City of Louisa rents out the Louisa Senior Citizen's Center for  various occasions such as showers, birthday parties, reunions, pageants, etc.  The Louisa Senior Citizen's Center is located on Pike Street behind Giovanni's.

If you have any questions, or would like to book the Louisa Senior Citizen's building, contact Louisa City Hall at 638-4050.

All rentals require a $100 damage deposit that will be returned after  your scheduled rental, given that no property damaged was reported during your event. To pay the
rental and deposit, visit Louisa City Hall at 215 North Main Cross Street.

Rental rates are as follows:
1-4 hours: $100
4-8 hours: $150
8-12 hours: $200
12+ hours: $250

About your rental:
You will not receive a key to the Senior Citizen's Center.  Instead, you will be met by a staff member who will unlock the door for you.  After your event, please gather all garbage and throw the bags into the dumpster located across from the building.  A staff member will return at the end of your rental to clean the building and lock the
doors.

About the center:
The Louisa Senior Citizen's building has 10 round tables for your use.
These tables can hold six people each comfortably.  Additional
rectangle tables are available to be set up.  The center has a kitchen
area, complete with a stove and refrigerator.

The Louisa Senior Citizen's Center is also a functioning Senior Center during the day on Mondays through Fridays.  The center is open from 8:00 AM-2:30PM.  Lunch is served every day from 11AM-12PM.  Lunch is $1.00.  The Senior Center offers many activities for senior citizens, such as computer applications, exercise, classes and social activities.  The Senior Center offers bus runs, and also transports its members to and from the store and doctor's appointments.  If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Director Judy Jackson or Assistant Director Teresa Church at 638-9335.
